With a $10,000 buy in for this No Limit Texas Holdem freeze-out tournament, the Borgata stands to attract all of poker’s top stars. here are the buy-in rules and start times for the tournament.
EVENT #13 - WPT Championship Event
No-Limit Hold’Em, $9600 Buy-In + $400 Entry

Start Time: Sunday, September 14, 2008 - 11AM
General Rules
* Players will start with 40,000 in tournament chips.
* On-Site Registration for this event:
o Monday, September 1: 2PM until 10PM
o Tuesday, September 2: 8AM until Midnight
o Wednesday, September 3: 24 hours through Level 2 of this event
* Alternates and late sign ups will be allowed to enter during the first two (2) Levels. Late sign-ups that require a new stack of chips to be placed on a table will have the equivalent of the small blind extracted from the stack every twenty (20) minutes the tournament has elapsed.
* Each level will last Seventy-Five (75) minutes.
* Fifteen (15) minute break after every two Levels.
* Seventy-Five minute Dinner Break after Level 6 (Day 1); after Level 14 (Day 2)

Day 1 ends after Level 8. Day 2 ends after Level 16. Day 3 ends at 27 players or at discretion of Tournament Director. Day 4 ends at 6 players.

This is a five-day tournament. Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 and Day 4 start at 11AM. Day 5 starts at 4PM.

Final Table may use a structure and blinds determined by WPT. Players must sign WPT waiver to participate in tournament.

Redraw for seats and tables after each day. All chips will be bagged and tagged for next day. For Day 2, tables will start with ten players and reduce to nine-handed as players are eliminated. Tables balanced within two players until ten (10) tables, then within one player.
* Tournament Director decisions are final and without recourse.
* Borgata reserves the right to alter, change, or cancel tournament. Borgata will not be held responsible in the event of typographical errors or misinformation on the website or printed material pertaining to this event, and players will not have claim in these matters.
* Seating may be limited.
* Residents of foreign countries without a U.S. tax treaty will be subject to withholdings.
